Development of Position Profile
The search manager conducts personal interviews with the hiring manager, search committee, trustees and other stakeholders to solicit each individual's unique insight and opinions on the position.
A needs analysis is completed, the Position Profile is developed, and search and selection criteria are defined from information collected in these interviews.

Research Project
Identify targeted entities based on the search criteria and submit the target list to the client for approval. Launch research to identify names of individuals with similar responsibilities in each target.
If advertising is recommended, our office will develop the ad content and identify the appropriate publications and web sites to be used based on the search criteria.

Active Candidate Search
Actively recruit individuals identified at the targeted entities. The opportunity is actively sold to targeted individuals. In addition, applicants are sourced from our professional network and resume database.
Our Search Activity Report is provided to the client detailing our activities and results. Additionally, via email and conference calls, the Search Manager communicates personally with the hiring manager or other designated representatives to update them on the progress of the search.

Applicant Evaluation
Resumes are reviewed and telephone interviews completed with qualified applicants to determine skill set and cultural fit. Personal interviews are completed by the Search Manager with the most qualified applicants to determine the candidates to be recommended.

Candidate Recommendations and Background Investigation A Summary of Experience and Qualifications, Candidate Summary and resume are provided on each candidate recommended. The Summary of Experience and Qualifications compares the experience and qualifications of the recommended candidates. The Candidate Summary (reviewed and approved by the candidate) is a narrative summarizing our phone and personal interviews. A comprehensive background investigation is also provided on each candidate recommended, if requested by the client. This investigation includes Previous Address Search, County Criminal History Search, Federal Criminal History Search, Sexual Offender Search, Education Verification, Affiliation/License Verification, Credit Report, Social Security Number Verification, Employment Verification, Driving Record.

Client Interviews Our office will schedule candidate interviews with the client and arrange and pay on the client's behalf all travel and lodging in accordance with its travel policies. These services are provided at no additional charge and the client is re-billed the actual expenses. Our Search Manager will assist the client in the development of the interview structure, interview questions, and the candidate evaluation system as well as conduct interview training sessions, if requested. The Search Manager is also available to attend and facilitate client interview sessions and assist with debriefing sessions, if requested.

Reference Interviews/Media Searches Reference interviews and media searches are recommended on finalist candidates and a copy of the report is provided to the client.

Offer Extended The Search Manager, in collaboration with the client, will negotiate the compensation package with the new hire, if requested. S/he will also assist in the development of the employment contract, if applicable.

Candidate Hired Our office will assist with transition services, realtor services, and other relocation assistance to ensure a seamless transition.
