Debbie is a CPA who earned her BSBA at The Ohio State University. She is an accomplished executive with over twenty years of experience in public accounting and the private sector and is known as a results-oriented leader with significant project and change management skills. She is responsible for managing client relationships and searches for a wide range of organizations, including Fortune 100 companies to not-for-profit clients, such as public pension plans and state and local government.

As a Principal, Debbie has managed searches for CEO, CFO, General Auditor, General Counsel, Corporate Controller, SVP State & Local Tax, and many other senior financial positions. She is experienced and recognized for her abilities to work with senior management and boards, as well as search committees.

Prior to joining Hudepohl, Debbie has held various positions during her tenure at Borden, Inc. (then a $7 billion global chemical and foods manufacturer) – President of Borden Asset Management, General Controller and General Auditor, and Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO). Her major focus was in the areas of finance, accounting, and information technology. As General Controller and General Auditor reporting to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, she and her team focused on and assisted the operating companies globally to improve the financial controls and increase the awareness of corporate governance.

As Interim CIO, her role involved centralizing seven information services functions with over 400 employees and developing a comprehensive five-year technology plan. Her most recent position was President of Borden Asset Management managing over 100 associates with the objective of downsizing and eventually eliminating the organization.

Prior to Borden, she spent 11 years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers managing large clients in various industries. She also participated in their expatriate program working two years in the London, England practice office. In addition to her responsibilities at Hudepohl, Debbie works as an industry consultant to public companies on internal controls, corporate governance, audit committee structure, and other financial matters.
